Guilherme de Oliveira Silva received his Bachelor's degree in Economics and his Master's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, in 2022 and 2025, respectively. During his Master's degree, he worked with Professor Dr. Fernando Pereira on a novel translation validation technique using a Godel Numbering for a large subset of the C language.
Prior to joining the Chair, Guilherme worked at Cadence Design Systems, as a member of the NeuroWeave compiler team. The NeuroWeave compiler is based on MLIR and lowers neural network workloads to run in Cadence DSPs.
In June 2026, he joined the Chair as a research assistant, in the context of the REC² Excellence Cluster.
