Prospective authors are invited to upload original and unpublished papers in the submission link below.
Main Track Submit [here]
Submitted papers must follow the IEEE double column format and must be limited to 6 pages plus references (i.e. the references do not count in the 6 pages; and references must not exceed two pages). This is a strict limit, and papers exceeding this limit will be rejected automatically.
Submitted papers may be accepted as full or short papers. Papers accepted as full papers will appear in the proceedings as 6 pages papers plus up to 2 pages of references. Short papers (posters) will have 4 pages plus up to 2 pages of references in the proceedings.
Non-anonymous preprints (on arXiv, social media, websites, etc.) are permitted. Reviewers will be instructed not to actively look for such preprints, but encountering them will not constitute a conflict of interest. Authors may submit work that is already available as a preprint (e.g., on arXiv) without citing it; however, previously published papers by the authors on related topics must be cited (with adequate anonymization to preserve double-blind reviewing).
After the abstract submission deadline, the author list and order entered in the system cannot be changed anymore.
PhD Forum authors are invited to submit 2-page papers using the same format as FPL 2021 regular papers before the deadline of tbd in the submission link below.

An additional cover page should contain the following information:
Names and affiliations of all authors.
Description of the main objectives and relevance of the demo to the FPL community
Short biographies of demo presenters
Any logistical requirements the demonstration may have (e.g. Internet access)
The 1-page abstract should include demo title, names and affiliations of all authors, and an abstract of the demo. The authors of the accepted demos will be asked to prepare a poster for the Demo Night. All demo posters will be published on the FPL 2021 program and website, and the abstracts will be included in the conference proceedings.
Authors are required to use the standard IEEE templates in format A4 and not to include page numbers. Templates are available directly from IEEE (https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html). All contributions must be submitted electronically in PDF format. FPL 2021 uses a double-blind reviewing system. Manuscripts must not identify authors or their affiliations; those that do will not be considered. References to the authors’ prior work should be made in the 3rd person, in the same way one would reference work by others. If necessary to maintain anonymity, citations may be shown as “Removed for blind review”.
