ZIH fair booth at SC2015

This year, TUD's Center for Information Services and High Performance Computing (ZIH) has again been present with a booth at the Supercomputing Conference 2015 (SC15), the international conference for high performance computing networking, storage, and analysis. It took place from 15 to 20 November 2015 in Austin, Texas. The presentation was supported also by cfaed scientists Siavash Ghiasvand and Thomas Ilsche. Aim of the visit was to display current research findings in the areas of performance analysis, optimization of energy efficiency and Big Data as well as their specific method- and application-based challenges. Another important topic were HPC applications.

Besides of presenting itself, ZIH also made use of the conference showing its know-how in HPC, Data Intensive Computing and Grid- and Cloud-Computing in various talks, tutorials and panel shows. Talks were delivered among others from Florina Ciorba, Wolfgang Nagel and Thomas Ilsche.
