Mohammed Bawatna has joined the Chair for Processor Design at CFAED in Computer Science at Technische Universität Dresden (TUD), Germany, in April 2021. From 2010 to 2015, he was a Research Teaching Assistant at AL-QUDS University, Palestine/Israel. He received M.Sc. in Electronic and Computer Engineering in May 2015 from AL-QUDS University in Jerusalem. From 2016 to 2017, he was a research associate at the Central Institute of Engineering, Electronics and Analytics institute (ZEA 2) in the Julich research center (JFZ), Germany. From 2018 to 2020, he was a research associate at Helmholtz Zentrum Dresden Rossendorf (HZDR), part of Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in High-Performance Data Acquisition System and Modular Stream-based Processing for data-intensive applications. His interests include distributed systems and middleware, big data processing and automation at the data center, high-performance communication and multimedia, and resource-efficient and predictable architectures for embedded systems. He is currently working as a research associate on the SARA project.
