Summer School: Nanoscale Energy Converters

Nanostructured materials such as nanowires are emerging as leading
candidates in the quest to achieve a sustainable energy supply. This
Summer School will introduce PhD students, postdocs and advanced
master students to the scientific and technological principles of
nanoscale energy conversion systems:
• Photovoltaics
• Thermoelectrics
• Light-emitting diodes
• Molecular machines
• Nanothermodynamics
• Safety of nanomaterials
CREDITS
We will offer a certificate for 2 ECTS to participants who attend all
lectures and complete assignments during the week.
COURSE FEE
A registration fee of 5000.00 SEK covers all meals, lodging and
course materials. A number of stipends (registration waivers) are
available upon application.
